Sometimes you may be faced with clearing an egress point that is covered with bars. As a progressive RIT or Truck company you may use a variety of methods to open them up. A traditional method is to get the rotary saw and start cutting the bars. In this case you can take the entire frame out that is bolted to the wall. In the second photo you can get under the frame of the bars and pry with a halligan. Many times the hardware will be aged or already deteriorating.
